Random thoughts

Have you love going on bus rides? I am sure only a few will love it. I am one of the few that love bus rides. Oh well, only during non peak hours though. Why I love bus rides? It is the period where I learn to let go my negative feelings that bothers me. I learn to reflect on mistakes. Believe it or not, meditation happens in the bus. Don't be surprised if I dont make contact with you if you saw me in the bus. I am probably in my little world.

Cheers,
Nic

What is LOVE?

What is LOVE? Have you ever asked yourself this question?

These few days was really a tiring day for me and my family. Nevertheless, I have witnessed 2 situations
where LOVE is shown extensively.
Situation 1:
I was just walking down the bus at the bus stop during a rainy day. Without an umbrella as usual, I was thinking to just scramble back home, soaking wet. Then, I saw one of my colleague sitting down at the bus stop. She was also rather elderly. So I approached towards her and said hi. Her name is Aunty Mona btw if you were wondering. So back to the story. She insisted for me to wait till the rain gets lighter before going back home. So when the rain gets lighter I told her that I make a move first. Aunty Mona insisted on following me home with her umbrella to cover me from the rain. I was touched by her simple form of love. She could have just walked the opp direection which will be nearer to her house. Once we reached the intersection, I said my goodbye to her. Aunty Mona told me she will teman me back to my home. I was so touched by then. A simple form of LOVE is worth more than money. Priceless I would say. Thank You Lord for showing me what is LOVE.

Situation 2:
I was at Pantai Hospital KL to accompany my brother. While waiting for our turn into the emergency room, a mother sitting on a wheelchair happened to be beside us. Her young son, maybe 5 year old boy approached her. He was obviously sad to see her mother on the wheelchair as she has hurt 2 toes on her right foot. It was rather obvious that the mum was in pain. But when her son approached her, she felt his sadness and asked him "why are you sad?...dun cry ok? I am fine....". This was what she told him. I already felt the love already. Then a minute later, she stood up from the wheelchair and wanted to carry her son. Her son hesitated on his mum carrying him as he was afraid that his mum will be in pain. Then the mum said again, "Its ok I am fine" with a smile on her face. Another priceless situation.

This 2 situations has prompted me to show love to people around me as how Jesus has showed His love for us by dying on the cross for the sins that we had done. Cherish the people around you..

I love you all...

If you have any situations or incidents where you felt the love, please share. For sharing is caring!

God bless all of you.

Cheers,
Nic

A new life

Living in a new environment for about 2 months or so already. It is adaptable for me. Thank God for being there when I needed someone to lean on the most. In here, only Yuan Si listens to me. But I must also thank God for providing me with company. Love you Jesus! Just finished my exams last week and now on my semester break. Trying to adjust living without parents around. I just wanna feel like I am living far away from them so that next time I will adapt easier if I have a chance to get out of Malaysia.

Just heard from brother that mum and dad getting a second hand Perodua Viva for 22k!It shocked me yesterday but it's a good news to.At least is better than MAN UNITED result( it was a pathetic game).

Trying to live a healthy life. Watching over the amount of food I take for every meal but today woke up at 3.15am to watch Man United versus Man City and eating chips and drinking coke. This is terrible of me. I have just indulge in sinful eating and bad habits. Gonna make a change in my life as soon as possible!

Another constant worry is my PTPTN Loan. I need to settle it urgently as well as plan what I want to study for next semester. It's only a seven week semester. Planning to take 3 subjects for 7 weeks means I need to study constantly everyday for at least 2 hours.

People often mistaken me as a stalker but they are wrong. It is known as observing. They need to realize that observing comes naturally of a person. Everyone has this skill. They just have not realize their ability. What I should be doing is improve my temper to a good one. I also need to be less sensitive and also need to exercise. EXERCISE STARTS TODAY!NO MORE DELAYS!

Hi there,
A REMINDER TO MYSELF:
  1. Be brave
  2. Be positive
  3. Be confident
  4. Belief
  • Today was a day that I became brave by telling the college of my withdrawal from the course.
  • Today was the day that I became positive about my move after much doubts.
  • Today was the day that I became confident about my next move but may be shattered soon....LET ME MAKE IT PASS TOMORROW AND ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE!
  • Today was the day that I belief God has heard the tears that I have shed..He messaged me that to belief in Him to help me change my attitude is indeed positive and a possible mission to accomplish. I am certain to belief a little bit more in You.Hopefully I will be able to believe You TOTALLY!

Words are free for us to make, string together, and dispense with but there are times in life when only the right words can make us feel better. We know what we want to hear or say but the right words simply don’t come to mind. It is in these times that motivational quotes prove their worth. Motivational quotes summarize everything we feel, expect, and believe in. We use them to be inspired and become better.

Be more motivated today, tomorrow, and for the other days to come with the carefully chosen motivational quotes below.

Focus on remedies, not faults – Jack Nicklaus
Mistakes are so difficult to forget while the good things in life have an ephemeral existence in our minds. But why should we let our minds dwell on mistakes? What good can it do? The only time we should think about our faults is for the purpose of learning from them. Upon achieving that, we should focus next on remedies and move on.

Anger and haste hinder good counsel. – English Proverb
Motivational quotes shouldn’t be exclusively used for creating happy thoughts and feelings. They should also be used to get rid of unhappy ones and give way for something nicer, warmer, and brighter. Anger is one such emotion and you can use the motivational quote below to remind yourself how futile and destructive anger can be.

Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
There are many ways to apply this quote to our lives. If you have a goal, mere wanting is inadequate. You must have a burning desire for it. For that matter, enthusiasm isn’t something to be embarrassed about. A world-weary outlook on life may be considered fashionable but some, but such affectations won’t make you any happier. Be glad you have something to be excited about for these are the things that make life worthwhile.

Every man is the architect of his own fortune – Sallus
Do not blame God or anyone else for your misfortune. It is useless to do so. You need to strive above all things because it is your life and everything that happens to you is within your power. True enough, some things can’t be achieved overnight but if you work hard enough and believe in yourself, you will get what you want no matter what obstacles you’re facing.

When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid. – Audre Lorde
Don’t waste time dwelling on your fears and insecurities. Rather, concentrate on discovering your strengths and finding out the best way to put them to use in order to achieve your goals. When you do that, you’ll become too busy to ever remember to be afraid.

Practice hope. As hopefulness becomes a habit, you can achieve a permanently happy spirit. – Norman Vincent Peale
Yes, hope is something everyone knows and understands but it’s not something everyone can do and do repeatedly. Hope takes practice. Moreover, it requires constant practice because it’s the only path to happiness. In that line, do remember another important motivational quote, from Horace this time: Never despair!

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? – Vincent Van Gogh
Explaining this quote would be made easier with the use of yet another quote: courage is not defined by the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.

To those who are facing stress in their lifes, here's a few ways to release them:

1.Ask yourself, if you had a magic wand, what would you like to see included in your future? Ignoring the ideas of how you’ll get there, vividly imagine your ideal life, and what would be included in it. Then take a few minutes to list, on paper or on your computer, the changes and goals that would be included in this picture. Be specific about what you want. It’s okay if you want something that you seemingly have no control over, such as a mate who is perfect for you; write it!

2.You may want to keep a running journal of how you’re doing on your goals, as a way to pat yourself on the back for success, work through frustration of setbacks, and as a form of continued motivation. You can also make updates to your goals as they change with you. (Sometimes the pursuit of one goal will lead to growth that will lead to the realization that a different direction would be better for you.)

3.Research on journaling has shown numerous benefits to journaling that includes processing feelings and brainstorming solutions. This can not only relieve stress, but also help you attain goals by providing an opportunity to work through problems, find solutions, and keep from getting ‘stuck’ in unhealthy patterns.

4.You may also want to keep a gratitude journal, where you write about all the things for which you are grateful each day. Popularized by Oprah, this form of journaling can help you feel more gratitude in your life as you develop the habit of noticing all the good in your life. This can decrease stress that you feel, as well as help you realize all that you have available to you already.

5.You may follow the lead of many businesses and have a 1-year, a 5-year and a 10-year plan for your life. (It doesn’t have to be a set-in-stone plan, but a list of wishes and goals.) Keeping in mind what you hope for in your future can help you feel less ‘stuck’ in the stressful parts of your present life, and help you see more options for change as they present themselves.

6.Write down all the coincidences (or, what Henriette Anne Klauser, in Write It Down, Make It Happen! refers to as “Go! Incidences, referring to their momentum-building quality) that you encounter that bring you closer to your goals. Keeping track of them helps you become more aware of them when they happen, and more likely to use them to your advantage.

7.Keep a ‘dream journal’ chronicling each night’s nocturnal adventures. You may begin to notice patterns, messages, and other important things your dreams can tell you that you’d otherwise forget. (Remember, you are generally the best interpreter of the meaning in your own dreams.)

8.Maintain a ‘dream journal’ of a different sort: instead of recording the dreams you have when you’re sleeping, record the hopes you have (or once had) for your life that seem completely out of reach or borderline ridiculous. Have fun with it, and imagine where you’d be in life if you could be anywhere! This can help you get in touch with what you really want in life, and find uncover some dreams that you really can make come true.

9.If you’re trying to find something specific in your life, writing about it has worked for many people. For example, if you’re looking for a compatible mate, writing down all the qualities you hope to find in a person, very specifically, has brought many people success. (Whether this practice aligns with the spiritual law ‘ask and it shall be given unto you’, or whether it causes you to be more likely to know it when you see it, it appears to work!)

10.If you’re not the regular-writing type, even writing one list once can help you to attain your goals. The process helps you to become more aware of what more you could get our of life, notice that you don’t have to be ‘stuck’ in any circumstances indefinitely, and more often notice opportunities that come your way, either on a conscious or unconscious level.

Hope these ways help you guys!!and God Bless You Always!!
